Nov 13 – Camas Country Mill 2nd Annual Pie Baking Contest
To enter your pie call 541-225-5640 or stop by the Bakery! Upon entry, you will receive two pounds of your choice of Camas Country Mill flour. Enter in one of four categories: Fruit, Specialty, Squash/Pumpkin or Nut.
Stop by the Schoolhouse Bakery and Store on Sunday, Nov 13 from 1 pm to 3 pm to taste everyone’s creations!
Nov 18, 19 + 20 – Oregon Olive Mill Olio Nuovo Festival
Celebrate the completion of 2016’s olive milling at Oregon Olive Mill’s 8th annual Olio Nuovo Festival. This is your first chance to taste and purchase this season’s fresh, unfiltered extra virgin olive oil! Fresh Olio Nuovo is paired with seasonal appetizers and Durant Vineyards estate wines. Hourly tours of our Olioteca (olive mill), live Italian music and shopping for holiday décor.
Nov 19 + 20 – Thanksgiving Turkey Pick Up
Pick up your pasture-raised, antibiotic and hormone free turkeys from Deck Family Farm. Reservation and deposit required.
Online produce ordering for the winter season. A beautiful collection of greens, herbs, potatoes, squash, broccoli, celery, etc. Each week, produce orders open Friday at 9 am and close the following Tuesday at 7 am. Orders are available for pick up at the Farm Stand the following Thursday by 4 pm through Sunday at 7 pm.
Red Table Meat Company is doing 30 Days of Pancetta all month long! Features recipes from chefs across the country, including Let Um Eat Collective members Mike Philips (Red Table Meat Co), Carlo LaMagna (Clyde Common) and Chef Karl Holl (Let Um Eat). Follow them online for new recipes everyday using Red Table pancetta.
Nov 19 – Broth Bar Olympia, WA Opening
The grand opening of 222 Market in Olympia with a second location of Portland’s Broth Bar. First 50 customers will receive a free cup of bone broth!
Nov 24 – Thanksgiving Dinner at Higgins Restaurant
An annual tradition at an iconic Portland restaurant: Thanksgiving dinner at Higgins Restaurant. Four course menu with choices. $75 for adults and $35 for children, exclusive of beverage and gratuity. Reservations available 1 pm – 8 pm. Call 503.222.9070.
